Publishing Products

Select and publish supplier products to your WooCommerce store.

Publishing is the process of adding a supplier's product to your WooCommerce store. Once published, the product is created as a real WooCommerce product with automatic sync.

Publishing Individual Products

Go to Nventory > Product Catalog in your WordPress admin.

Find the product you want to sell.

Click the Publish button next to the product.

The product is created in your WooCommerce store with all data from the supplier.

Bulk Publishing

To publish multiple products at once:

  1. Use the checkboxes to select products in the catalog
  2. Use the Check All toggle to select all products on the current page
  3. Click Publish Selected

Bulk publishing may take a moment depending on how many products you're adding. Each product needs to sync images, variants, and metadata.

What Happens When You Publish

When you publish a product, the following occurs:

  1. A new WooCommerce product is created in your store
  2. All product data is synced: title, description, images, price, SKU, categories, tags
  3. If the product has variations, all variants are created with their attributes
  4. Inventory levels are set to match the supplier's current stock
  5. The product appears in your WooCommerce catalog as a regular product

Unpublishing Products

To stop selling a product:

  1. Find the product in the Nventory Product Catalog
  2. Click Unpublish next to the product

You can also bulk unpublish by selecting multiple products and clicking Unpublish Selected.

Unpublishing removes the product from Nventory sync but the WooCommerce product itself may remain in your store. Check your WooCommerce product list to fully remove it if needed.

Published Product Behavior

Once published, products behave like normal WooCommerce products:

  • They appear in your store's shop page
  • Customers can add them to cart and purchase
  • They show up in WooCommerce product searches and filters
  • You can add them to menus, widgets, and shortcodes

The key difference is that synced fields update automatically based on your sync field preferences.
