Installation
How to install and activate the Nventory plugin on your WordPress site.
Method 1: WordPress Plugin Directory
In your WordPress admin, go to Plugins > Add New.
Search for Nventory.
Click Install Now, then Activate.
Method 2: Manual Upload
Download the nventory.zip file from nventory.io.
In your WordPress admin, go to Plugins > Add New > Upload Plugin.
Choose the zip file and click Install Now, then Activate.
Method 3: FTP / File Manager
Extract the nventory.zip file.
Upload the nventory folder to /wp-content/plugins/ on your server.
In WordPress admin, go to Plugins > Installed Plugins and activate Nventory.
After Activation
Once activated, a new Nventory menu item appears in your WordPress admin sidebar. Click it to begin the connection setup.
WooCommerce must be installed and active before activating Nventory. If WooCommerce is not detected, the plugin will display an error notice and will not initialize.
Verifying Installation
After activation, you should see:
- Nventory menu item in the WordPress admin sidebar
- The connection setup page when you click on it
- No error notices in the admin area
If you see a notice about WooCommerce being required, install and activate WooCommerce first, then deactivate and reactivate Nventory.
