Inventory Sync
Push all stock levels from Nventory to a connected platform.
How It Works
Inventory sync pushes all current stock quantities from Nventory to a connected platform. This ensures your platform store reflects accurate stock levels.
Running an Inventory Sync
Go to Integrations and click on the integration.
Navigate to the Operations tab.
Click Sync Inventory.
The sync runs in the background. All product stock quantities are updated on the platform.
What Gets Synced
For each product variant:
| Data | Synced |
|---|---|
| Stock quantity | Yes |
| Stock status (in stock / out of stock) | Yes |
| Location-level inventory (multi-location platforms) | Yes |
Location Mapping
For multi-location platforms (Shopify, BigCommerce), inventory is synced per mapped location:
- Nventory stock location A → Shopify Location A
- Nventory stock location B → Shopify Location B
Make sure your location mappings are set up correctly before running inventory sync.
Inventory sync overwrites stock quantities on the platform with values from Nventory. Make sure Nventory has the correct stock levels before syncing.
Requirements
- The integration's inventory sync direction must be set to Outbound or Bidirectional
- The integration must be in a Connected status
When to Use
- After a product import to push initial stock levels
- After a manual stock adjustment in Nventory
- To recover from a sync issue where platform quantities are out of date
- As a periodic full sync to catch any missed updates
