Bulk Operations
Bulk Operations
Import, export, and sync large volumes of data across your platforms.
Bulk operations let you move large amounts of data between Nventory and your connected platforms in a single action — ideal for initial setup, migration, or periodic full syncs.
Available Operations
| Operation | Direction | Description |
|---|---|---|
| Product Import | Platform → Nventory | Pull all products from a connected store |
| Product Export | Nventory → Platform | Push all products to a connected store |
| Inventory Sync | Nventory → Platform | Update all stock levels on a connected store |
| Order Import | Platform → Nventory | Pull all orders from a connected store |
Bulk operations run in the background. You can continue working in Nventory while they process. Large catalogs may take several minutes.
When to Use Bulk Operations
- First-time setup — import your entire product catalog after connecting a new store
- Migration — export all products to a new platform
- Recovery — re-sync everything after a connectivity issue
- Periodic refresh — force a full sync on a schedule
Sync Direction Requirements
Bulk operations respect your integration's sync settings:
| Operation | Required Sync Direction |
|---|---|
| Product Import | Inbound or Bidirectional |
| Product Export | Outbound or Bidirectional |
| Inventory Sync | Outbound or Bidirectional |
| Order Import | Inbound or Bidirectional |
If the required direction isn't enabled, a warning is shown and the operation is blocked.
