Tally Prime Integration

Connect Tally Prime to Nventory using the desktop connector.

Connecting Tally Prime

Nventory connects to Tally Prime through a desktop connector that bridges your local Tally installation with Nventory's cloud platform.

Prerequisites

  • Tally Prime installed and running on your local machine or server
  • Tally's ODBC or API server enabled
  • Network access between the connector and your Tally instance

Tally Prime runs as a desktop application. The Nventory connector communicates with Tally's local API server — ensure it's running and accessible.

  • Sales vouchers in Tally map to Nventory orders
  • Tally ledger entries (debtors) map to Nventory customers
  • Godowns (Tally's term for warehouses) map to Nventory stock locations
